IBJJF European Championship 2027: last days to affiliate your academy

If your academy is taking competitors to the IBJJF European Championship 2027 (Odivelas, Lisbon, 13 to 23 January), you have nine days left to affiliate it: the IBJJF asks for this to be done before 23 December. Athlete registration closes on 3 January.
What you need before each date
- 23 December: academy affiliated with the IBJJF and each athlete's membership active (and valid until 23 January).
- 3 January, 23:59 Lisbon time: registration closes. It may close earlier if it reaches capacity.
- 4 January: last day for athletes to correct their division, weight or belt.
- 5 and 6 January: corrections by coaches.
- 12 January: brackets and final schedule on bjjcompsystem.com.
Quick checklist for coaches
- Check that your academy's affiliation is active on the IBJJF website.
- Make sure each competitor's membership is up to date and their registered belt is correct.
- Settle their weight division with them before 4 January: after that it can't be changed.
- Remember that the fee is at its final stage (186 USD) and is only refunded within 48 hours of payment.
