1. Who each one is for
Both are from Spain and built for martial arts academies. You can tell MatGoat was designed for that use: its website lists what an academy needs.
Feature-wise, they differ very little. What really changes is the price, VAT and payment fees.
MatGoat if you want a martial arts app and price isn't your main concern. GREATER if you want the same thing for a lower monthly fee.

According to its website, MatGoat has two plans:
- €40 a month up to 50 students.

MatGoat doesn't publish a free plan.

6. Payment fees
Here it's the other way round, and it's only fair to say so: MatGoat advertises a 0% fee on payments.
GREATER keeps 1% plus the Stripe fee on each card payment. Cash and class-pack payments carry no fee on GREATER. Both record cash payments.
If you take almost everything by card and have lots of students, run the numbers with your own figures.

7. Trial, VAT and lock-in
You can try MatGoat for 30 days with no card. Its prices don't include VAT: with 21% they come to €48.40 and €72.60.
When you sign up to GREATER you get 30 days of Pro. If you don't pay at the end, you stay on the Free plan. No lock-in. The price you see is the price you pay, with VAT included.
